Skin

This was a very interesting exercise on creating typography with a realistic skin texture. the background is simply a texture with a red overlay lighten using the gradient and brush tool. The type has been made using a free downloaded font called bubblegum and a skin texture. The texted in place in a light pick colour with a soft drop shadow to give the 3D effect. This is were the skin texture comes in each letter has the texture mask on using the Clipping mask function. Once all the letters had the skin texture applied the Burn tool was used to create the black outline on each of the letters then the dodge tool on the middle sections to create a stronger contrast. The sliced 'I' was create using the Polygon lasso tool to cut it in half then and a section of the meat was cut out and placed underneath the lower half. This was very good practice for using and modifying textures in Photoshop.
