Quirigua Monument

For this first task I had to adjust the brightness levels of the stock image (Fig.1) to make the scenery more appealing and summery using Photoshop. To start with I used the Auto colour command to add more brightness and colour then the Levels command. The Levels dialog box gives the ability to change the individual RGB values of an image. After changing the values I used the Hue/Saturation command to rise the saturation of the colour. Once i had applied all these modifications i arrived with brighter more colourful image (Fig.2). When making changes like these there is a lot of trial and error involved but can greatly enhance the look of an image making it an important process too know.
