Flower Patterns

These flower patterns were very easy to create. It started with collecting real flowers and leaves then using a scanner to create a digital image of them. Once on screen the image could be opened in Photoshop and each leaf and flower could be cut out and placed individually into another Photoshop document. Once there they can be duplicated and rotated to create patterns. In Fig.1 by changing the Layer option to Colour the colour of the leaves could be changed but also keep the texture and shading in the original image.

The same colour method was used in the below image to re colour the Tiger blue while keeping the depths and tones of the image.
